Welcome to Best of the Ballparks 2023 fan vote for Triple-A MiLB ballparks! You don't need to login to vote: Just click on your preferences. Please sign up to the twice-weekly Ballpark Digest newsletter list for news on this vote and other ballpark news.
As the top level of Minor League Baseball, you’d expect these ballparks to be among the finest in the pro game. And they are. This category is the most competitive in all of the minors and always generates a high level of fan interest. There’s not as much of a gap between the top and the bottom of this list as you’d expect, which means this vote will likely yield some big surprises. It always does.
These seeds are not the result of a formal grading system, but rather recommendations based on years of attending games, seeing how the ballparks function behind the scenes (we have seen plenty of ballpark cisterns while on visits in the past), how these ballparks have made an impact in their communities, and noting how ballparks are regarded within the industry. One of the reasons we love working in baseball is that many industry folks, including many on the player side, are ballpark geeks, and we think this list reflects broad sentiment among those who know ballparks best. Results of last year’s vote also played a part in our seedings, as well as improvements entering this season. Occupying the top spot is Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators and last year's champ, followed by last year’s runner-up, Louisville Slugger Field, home of the Louisville Bats. We don’t expect the voting to follow our seedings: our readers can be independent, and they share a love of ballparks and the fan experience. We will be eager to see how the voters decide.
We are running the contest with seeded brackets, so there will be plenty of action in coming days. Here’s our schedule for the Best of the Ballparks 2023 Triple-A vote:
